The Clinic receives $10,000
The Henrietta Weill Memorial Child Guidance Clinic expanded its North Bakersfield After-School tutoring and homework assistance program to provide educational services twice a week to junior high students in North Bakersfield.
This program is funded by the Weingart-KCF Fund of the Kern Community Foundation. The mission of the Kern Community Foundation is to enhance the quality of life for all the people of Kern County by encouraging philanthropy, providing services to donors and assisting those who serve to meet the needs of the community.
The Clinic would like to thank the Kern Community Foundation and the Weingart Foundation for the $10,000 grant award, which made this expansion possible.
