Outpatient Services

Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication Support Services
After spending time in counseling with an experienced therapist and receiving case management services, the therapist or case manager may recommend that the child receive a psychiatric evaluation. If ordered, the child and family will meet with a psychiatrist for an evaluation to diagnosis the child and determine if medication support services may be beneficial. If medication support services are deemed appropriate, the psychiatrist will set up an appointment schedule to assist the family with their medication needs. |

Kinship Support Services Program
Kinship Care is also referred to as "relative care," and is the full time parenting of children and youth by grandparents, other relatives neighbors or friends of the family. These loving and caring individuals step in when parents are unable to care for their children because of a variety of circumstances or situations, which may include incarceration, military service, physical or mental illness, addiction, and sometimes, untimely death. Children who are unable to live with their parent benefit greatly from living in a loging environment with grandparents, other relatives or family members or friends. The Kinship Support Services Program provides supportive services to these caregivers and children to help strengthen their families and to provide opportunities for success. **For program fliers, please refer to our Event Galleries tab or downloads at the bottom of this page. |
